Message	only good fuel and the proper a/f mixture will completely protect you from that. im piston stupid when it comes to all the coatings, crown design, etc...but i will say that z1 probably listens to the customer and does what the customer wants MOST of the time. the long shots and doing something without previous data is called: development and testing...or r&d. granted...that shouldnt happen on a customers car, but any new product/design/theory has to go through all of this. i am not for or against z1 and their practices. here is my theory ...zhound has run his car on the stock bottom end for what...ever? unless you go balls out (600+ at the wheels) why crack the engine open. its all about gain vs. loss ...the argument can be made for either side. some people do it cause they can..not because its better. some people do it because its better and they cant do the other thing.
